Berlin Station

One question which gets asked quite a lot is “where is Berlin Station?” Actually, as this article shows, there’s no such thing as a “Berlin Station“. Berlin has a number of main stations, and since 2006 it finally has its own central station, the Hauptbahnhof.

LOXX Berlin

One of the big attractions at the newly opened Alexa Berlin is a large model railway exhibtion called “LOXX Berlin“. It features a huge layout depicting scenes from Berlin and other areas, including a 4 m (12 ft) tall model of the TV Tower.

Chaotic opening of Alexa Mall in Berlin

Visitors to the eastern half of Berlin may have noticed a large red structure near Alexanderplatz Station: it’s the Alexa Berlin, a huge new shopping mall with over 180 stores. There were chaotic scenes at the opening, as thousands scrambled for bargains.

Those who don’t get turned on by shopping might like to try out the huge model railway at LOXX Berlin.

Embassies of Berlin… Canada

The Canadian Embassy in Berlin is located near the Potsdamer Platz. It is located in a purpose-built building constructed on a site which used to be between the inner and outer sections of the Berlin Wall.
